Malvazija

A classic and a trademark of the house. Gentle and self-effacing on the nose, fruity and slightly salty on the palate, with a pronounced varietal character and a delicious finish. Elegant, harmonious and fresh, with a medium body and moderate freshness, it will accompany fish dishes, white meats and pasta with lighter sauces.

Malvasia 2024 exudes the color of fresh lemon with golden hues. On the nose, it reveals its youth and the recognizable varietal characteristics of Malvasia Istarska. The aroma is floral and slightly spicy, of medium intensity – neither too restrained nor overpowering. There are notes of apricot, pear, cinnamon, lemon and a slight touch of yeast. The aromas are beautifully intertwined in a harmonious way, creating a sense of unity.
On the palate, it is dry, with an additional increase in intensity that enriches the tasting experience. It is medium-bodied, with lower acidity, and offers a wide, warm palette of aromas. The finish is, as expected, long, which is characteristic of our Malvasia. Despite the warm harvest of 2024, we have created another classic Malvasia Istria that will give you great pleasure with every sip.

Malvasia is a versatile wine that pairs easily with food. It is a natural choice for local Istrian seafood, white fish and risotto. It also pairs well with poultry, mildly spicy Asian dishes and even paella.
